Step back from your life for a moment... see anything out of place? Does your life just sort of congeal nicely? If so, you might consider yourself lucky. But there is another side. Experiences make us stronger. I know a guy who's sister had to hide a very large quantity of beer. That same day, social services was called tot eh house because he was a former ward of the state (adoptive parents are sometimes subject to this interrogation!?!?!) It was the strange teamwork as he performed his interview for the Social service official (he was the one who was adopted) while she tried to hide this beer. 24 cases. TWEENTY FOUR!!! The social services official never found out, but the parents sure did.
the point of the story is that the family grew closer as they were all about to loose unless they worked together. That rough spot was a good thing, it built character and camaraderie.
Moral: Don't try and iron out all of life's wrinkles.
